Plan to Succeed Soar! ...

I originally titled this site "Plan to Succeed" because of the obvious pun when I happened upon a book by Patrick Snow which I re-read quickly.  It's an inspirational easy read.  I recommend it.  It's all about achieving our dreams and "soar" seems to capture this better than "succeed".  Patrick sums it up: "Dream, Plan, Execute, and Soar." 

The technology ...

I'm not a web designer but I have created sites for myself and for youth groups since 1999.  They have all been table-based, until now.  Adopting blog templates promises to free me from messy code and site maintenance, while providing the benefits of syndication.  Moreover, blogs are more personal, informal, and conversational and I welcome this opportunity to learn from other readers.  My intention is to regularly post tips and conversations about best practices for starting and growing companies.

Now that I have looked at the widgets that can plug in I see that this is ideal for my wife!  I married an unbelievable woman and my jaw just drops when she starts talking about books.  So, I am also setting her up with a blog site about books.  Coming soon...  :-)  Blogging technology is fabulous because she will never have to wander into the isle of HTML books!
